Built
in 1923 as a gift to a young bride, Villa Marco Polo is an
Italian Renaissance mansion that continues to be a romantic
setting for special vacations and celebrations, especially
weddings and honeymoons. A reflecting pool visited occasionally
by bald eagles and blue herons is the focal point of a classical
Italianate garden. Our guest suites feature double soakers,
fireplaces, fine linens, luxurious beds, down pillows, hardwood
floors and Persian carpets. Generous gourmet breakfasts featuring
locally grown produce are served in our lovely sun-dappled
dining room. Enjoy afternoon tea and sherry either in the
garden or in front of the fire in our wood-paneled library.
