Our
all-season country inn provides the ideal base to explore
the Rocky Mountains from forested foothills to alpine meadows
and peaks along the Icefield Parkway. Comfort, seclusion,
tranquility and spectacular scenery await you at Aurum Lodge,
Alberta’s unique and award winning eco-tourism facility
and a member of the Charming Inns of Alberta.
Choose
from two different products (B&B or half board in the
lodge or fully self-contained units with kitchenette if you
prefer to prepare your own meals). We cater mostly to individual
travelers, couples or small special interest groups (hiking,
visual arts, wellness, etc). We can also help you with local
arrangements, selection of guides and outfitters in the area.
Minimum stays apply in summer and for self-contained units.
We
are open year-round, because there is always something to
do in the vicinity: hiking (over 100 trails in the region),
biking, climbing, trail-riding, canoeing, snow-shoeing, dog-sledding,
ice climbing, wildlife observation and photography to name
just a few. Day trips to the National Parks (Lake Louise or
Columbia Icefield) or a visit to the historic mine site in
Nordegg are also very popular. |
